MAKING CHANGE BY BUILDING COMMUNITIES

We are on a mission to sustainably develop the fragile farmer communities in rural Colombia. These communities are facing major challenges given overdependence on drug trade, lack of infrastructure, small land ownership and lack of modern sustainable agricultural techniques.

We source our tropical fruits from different parts of Colombia. Mangoes from Magdalena river belt, Pineapple from Bucaramunga, Guanabana from Tolima. Since our inception, we have developed a strong supply chain that enables us to prepare fruits one day after being plucked ripe from the trees. Some of our initiatives in Colombia are: 

 

1. Providing price and volume guarantees enabling our farmers to stay away from growing lucrative illegal crops

 

2. Establishing communities of 50+ farmer families to enable the benefits of economies of scale trickle down to the smallest land owner

 

3. Providing access to infrastructure and sustainable modern techniques
